"Windows protected your PC" (SmartScreen) warning
This appears on builds that are not yet code-signed with a trusted certificate — including the current release candidate. This is expected for this release, not a sign of tampering, provided you obtained the file from your Lemon Squeezy order and its checksum matches (see Checksums & SBOM). Once a signed build is available, this warning should no longer appear. See Security architecture for the code-signing pipeline's status.
A UAC (administrator) prompt appears
Pluto's Tweaker runs as a normal, unprivileged app for browsing, scanning, Detect, History, Logs, and Restore All. It only asks Windows to elevate at the moment you actually apply a tweak that requires administrator rights. If you see an elevation prompt at any other time, decline it and check what triggered it.
License file won't import
- Confirm the file is the license file from your Lemon Squeezy order email, not something else with a similar name.
- If it imports but shows as Invalid or Revoked, the file's signature or contents didn't verify — recheck you copied the whole file correctly, then contact support if it persists.
- Remember: even with no license, or an Expired/Invalid one, Detect, History, Logs, Export, and Restore All keep working — see the Recovery & Restore guide.
Something needs fixing and you want to report it
- Go to Settings > Support > Export Support Bundle.
- This creates a bundle of your logs/diagnostics with private details redacted before saving — review the file yourself before sending it anywhere.
- Include it when you contact support, along with what you were doing and what you expected to happen.
A tweak didn't revert cleanly
See the Recovery & Restore guide first — run Restore All from the Restore page. If it reports that something could not be confirmed reverted, check History for the specific item and Logs for detail, then include both in a Support Bundle if you report it.
The app can't read GPU or storage sensor data
This is expected and intentional, not a bug. Pluto's Tweaker only reads memory usage via a safe, standard Windows API and does not install any kernel driver to read GPU or storage sensors — it reports those as "Unavailable" rather than guessing or requiring a driver with broader system access.
Nothing here matches your issue
Contact support with a Support Bundle attached.
